Dear parents and students,

Thank you so much for joining us this summer! We are just a few days away from opening night and all is progressing nicely. We have finished blocking and choreographing our show and all we need now is for those pieces to come together.

Dress rehearsal will take place this entire week. All campers need to plan on bringing and leaving all costumes through the week; any costumes you provided can be taken home after Sunday’s performance. If we are providing your costume, it will be there, but please bring whatever shoes and accessories you will need. If you are wearing a costume we provided, do not take it home on Sunday!

Your child’s performances of The Wizard of Oz will take place Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the Community Building. Your child’s call time (the time they will need to be at the theater) is 5:30 p.m. This will provide us plenty of time for warm-ups and solve any problems that should arise. They can arrive no later than this time, however, the theater will open at 5 p.m., if they wish to come earlier. Their second performance will be Sunday, July 13, at 2 p.m.; call time is 12:30 p.m. They can arrive no later than this time, however, the theater will open at noon, if they wish to come earlier.

Please plan on dropping them off as the theater will not open for seating until 1 hour before the show. No parents are allowed backstage at any time — we have plenty of helpers and teachers back their to assist with costumes, makeup hair, etc.

Tickets will be $5 for children and $10 for adults and will be on sale each show day at our box office, which accepts cash or check only.

Your child’s recital will take place on Thursday July 10, at 7 p.m. at the Community Building. All campers must be at the theater no later than 6 p.m. You will receive two free tickets to the recital; to claim your ticket all you have to do is give your child’s name to the box office, which will have a list of all students in class. Additional tickets can be purchased for $3 at the box office.
